Sample Community Agreement

Below is a sample of a community agreement that you may use for your courses and programs. It was based on the community agreement shared at Encuentro Colombiano de Combinatoria in 2018, and I have been using a version of this document since then at the start of all my courses. Only once have we needed to utilize the community agreement to remove a participant from an event, but in that case, it was extremely helpful to have had this document signed by the participant as they understood that their actions had consequences. I highly recommend that others implement some version of a document like this, and I welcome any feedback on this draft!

This article gives Dandy a thoughtful introduction. I liked how the writer explained the subject without relying on complicated language.

A well-structured community agreement can create a respectful and supportive environment for everyone involved. Clear guidelines are valuable in any space, whether for learning communities or when exploring resources like a Delta Executor guide, where responsible use matters.
