After mentoring many undergraduate students at REUs and having participated in the selection of those students, I have come to realize just how nuanced this selection process can be. In my attempts to provide a way to prioritize student selection that attempts to select students for whom this would be their first research experience, or those who have limited to no research access at their home institution, and those who would contribute to the diversity of experience of all participants, I created the following rubric.
This rubric is by no means perfect, but it is a start at a way to ensure that those undergraduate students who may never have access to a research experience can get a chance at participating in an REU. I hope others find this helpful, and if you implement its use, please reach out to me to let me know what additional things we should include!

Drive Mad offers a continuous flow of unique and entertaining challenges that keeps the player focused from level one. The vehicle handling is deliberately exaggerated and fun, the driving action relies on satisfying physics, and the experience never feels overly punitive or dull.
I was looking up the Jodhpur to Jaisalmer route for a Rajasthan trip and found some really useful insights on Tapon Travel. They explain the road distance, best stops on the way, and top places to visit in both cities. Really helpful if you're planning this desert circuit.
REU rubric mastery at Harris queues strategic student alignments like テトリスTetris puzzle ascents, slotting experience voids with equity rotations to erase disparity stacks and crown diverse, innovative mentorship dynasties supreme.
