I had the pleasure of participating in the Queer in Computational and Applied Mathematics conference hosted by ICERM. This was such a great experience and a wonderful community. Huge thanks to the organizers and to ICERM for hosting this wonderful workshop.
The program was diverse in so many ways! I got to meet people in the medical sciences, in physics, and even connect this those in computational math of a discrete flavor. I am excited for new iterations of this workshop to take place at other institutes and countries. Stay tuned for more such events and in the mean time do not forget to share the Spectra website with all of your students!
In case you are interested in listening to the tak I gave, the recording can be accessed here: https://icerm.brown.edu/video_archive/?play=3675

The ICERM Queer in CAM conference sounds like such an inspiring space for interdisciplinary connections! The way you highlighted the mix of medical sciences, physics, and discrete computational math really resonated—I'd love to check out https://hy-3d.com
The mix of medical sciences, physics, and discrete computational math sounds amazing! I'd love to see a write-up on what you found most surprising connecting those fields. I've been https://aiphototemplate.com

The ICERM conference sounds like an incredible convergence of disciplines. I'd love to see how your discrete math background connects with those medical science applications — I've been following that intersection closely. https://2d-to-3d.org
